It’s time to get your best festival outfit ready as the Sugababes are set to headline the Emirates Dubai 7s 3-day festival on Saturday 30th November 2024.
Performing on the Rugby Rocks stage on Saturday night, the much-loved trio will make it a night to remember for Dubai 7s festival goers. Famous for their iconic top-of-the-pops hits like ‘Push the Button’, ‘Round Round’, ‘Freak Like Me’ and ‘Too Lost in You’, the British girl band is promising Dubai fans an unforgettable night of chart-toppers that defined the early noughties.
Sugababes are one of the most successful and critically acclaimed British groups. Formed in 1998, they have had six no. 1 singles and multi-platinum albums and now the original line-up – Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy – are back. They have sold out their biggest headline shows, released brand new music and attracted record-breaking crowds at festivals, including Glastonbury Festival 2022 and 2024 where they had to close the fields due to such demand.
With Sugababes headlining on Saturday and Stormzy on Sunday, the Emirates Dubai 7s festival line-up is already a major highlight for Dubai’s events season, and festival organisers say there’s still even more news to come. For Sunday ticket holders who wish to upgrade their tickets to a weekend pass, and for Sugababes fans who wish to catch a glimpse of Stormzy too before heading to Rugby Rocks on Sunday can easily upgrade via the Dubai 7s app.
Emirates Dubai 7s Festival Director, Mathew Tait said: “Every year, we love bringing more surprises for fans at the Emirates Dubai 7s. The addition of Sugababes to our line-up is a testament to the variety and world-class entertainment the festival offers. Their performance on Rugby Rocks stage will be sure to bring an incredible atmosphere, fans of all ages will enjoy. This is what the 7s is all about and we’re so excited to deliver another showstopping event that celebrates everything from international sport to music and family fun too.”
This year’s festival promises a full line-up of A-list performances from a host of international and local artists and DJs, each set to create an electrifying atmosphere that blends sport and entertainment for the whole family. More headliners will be announced in the lead up to the event as well as more exciting news from the world of rugby, cricket, F&B and more.
Tickets are available on the Emirates Dubai 7s website with an array of packages, including standard day tickets available for AED 425, or AED 550 for full weekend passes. Fans looking to enjoy a state-of-the-art hospitality experience can take in the action from the all-new Sunroom, with up to two days of all-inclusive VIP treatment, free-flowing F&B options, and a premium view of Pitch 1 from the North Grandstand. Don’t miss out on the perfect entertaining spot for clients, teams, or groups.
Friday the 29th of November, the festival’s opening day is free entry and is the ultimate family day out packed with fun sports, entertainment activities, and the largest kids’ zone yet. The perfect way to kick of the 3-day spectacle, leading into the UAE National Day public holiday on Monday 2nd December 2024.
